 | Set in the frozen steppes of Mongolia, KHADAK tells the epic story of Bagi, a young nomad shepherd confronted with his destiny to become a shaman: Bagi can hear animals over an incredibly long distance. A plague strikes the animals and Bagi's family is forcibly relocated to a bleak mining town along with all other nomads. Bagi saves the life of Zolzaya, the beautiful coal thief. When he finds out that the plague was a lie fabricated to eradicate nomadism he incites to a revolution with her help. Will Bagi ever be able to return to his former serene life? | |
