- The following two boxes must have checkmarks for JavaScript to be
supported:
- Open a link in a new window
- Raise or lower windows
- It is strongly recommended that the user simply place a checkmark
in the Navigator box.

Section 2: Enabling
Cookies
Microsoft Internet
Explorer
IE Version
6.X
- Go to Tools on top of
browser
- Choose Internet Options
- Click on the Security
tab
- Default setting is medium. Move the slider to determine
which setting you prefer. (Do not select maximum)
- You can also click on Advanced
for more specific cookie settings.
- Scroll down to Cookies in the
list and choose either: Enable or Prompt
- Scroll down to Allow
per-session cookies (not stored) in the list and choose either:
- Enable or Prompt before
accepting cookies
- Press OK
- Press Apply Press OK
IE Version 5.X
- Go to Tools on top of browser
- Choose Internet Options
- On bottom of list, go to Security
tab
- Choose the Internet content
zone
- Choose Custom Level
- Scroll down to Cookies in the list
and choose either: Enable or Prompt
- Scroll down to Allow per-session
cookies (not stored) in the list and choose either:
- Enable or Prompt before accepting
cookies
- Press OK
- Press Apply
- Press OK
IE Version 4.X
- Go to View on top of browser
- Choose Internet Options on bottom
of list
- Go to Advanced tab on far right
Scroll down to Cookie box in list Choose either:
- Always accept cookies or Prompt
before accepting cookies
- Press OK

Security menu on left hand side of box.
