Damian Chapa is the founder of Amadeus Pictures, on the web at www.amadeuspictures.com. Damaian has starred in numerous films including Warner Bros. UNDER SIEGE with Steven Seagal and Tommy Lee Jones Universal's STREET FIGHTER with Raul Julia and Jean- Claude Van Damme and New Line Cinema's MONEY TALKS with Charlie Sheen and Chris Tucker - all films that grossed over $100 million worldwide. In his first major film role, Chapa played the lead in Taylor Hackford's BLOOD IN BLOOD OUT (BOUND BY HONOR), the controversial film about three brothers growing up in East Los Angeles. He is also widely recognized for his performance as Lyle Menendez in the CBS mini-series MENENDEZ: A KILLING IN BEVERLY HILLS co-starring Beverly D'Angelo and Edward James Olmos. In 2006, Chapa was awarded the Anthony Quinn Award for Best Actor at the 11th Annual Los Angeles Chicano Film Festival for his performance in the action/adventure feature EL PADRINO. Chapa's most recent successes include I.R.A. - KING OF NOTHING, starring Chapa, Rachel Hunter and Joes Estevez SHADE OF PALE, a dramatic thriller with Gary Busey and EL PADRINO an explosive, star-studded action/adventure film exposing the true American-Latino reality of street and gang life. The film premiered to critical acclaim and box office success in its limited theatrical release in Texas in 2005. Chapa recently completed MEXICAN AMERICAN, EL CHICANO, as well as V2: THE DARK HOUR, (starring Chapa, Johanna Pacula) which made its debut at the Cannes Film Festival 2007. His film POLANSKI UNAUTHORIZED, was released in February 2009 � and he is in post-production on VAMPIRO.
